Neil Tennant (55), and Chris Lowe (49) took me for a ride of 28 years of unique English-Electronic-Synthpop music in unmatchable gothlike attire. 10:30 pm, and the steps of the Constitution Hall, crowded with these 40+ worshipers of the anti-rock British duo made me think: Did I just wake up in Berlin? Yes, I had just experienced the most visually enticing concert of the Summer... my all time favorite "Pet Shop Boys".
I get out of bed at half past ten
Phone up a friend, who's a party animal
Turn on the news and drink some tea
Maybe if you're with me we'll do some shopping
One day I'll read, or learn to drive a car
If you pass the test, you can beat the rest
But I don't like to compete, or talk street, street, street
I can pick up the best from the party animal
